. . . comes as terribly sad news for Beastie Boys fans. I won’t pretend to be an avid follower of the group, but I was able to at least recognize the great appeal they held for many music lovers. It wasn’t until well after their breakout hit album “License to Ill” — which, for whatever reason, just wasn’t my bag — that I learned to appreciate them.
